Captain Numitor is (finally) finished! Here he is, in all his smurf glory!

Well, my Golden Demon hopes are over, for this year at least. Unfortunately, the people at the store I went to today were nowhere near as nice as my regular store and I was not allowed to take photos, so I do apologize to my 0 readers for that :D

Hey guys! First round of highlights on Numitor are finished! I know the face looks weird, but it will look better when I do the next highlight, the mouth and the eyes.

Ok, here are some pics from or relating to Golden Demon. Pic 1 is the decal sheet they gave me. Pic 2 is the amazing number of Space Wolves decal sheets I was given when I asked if they had any. Pic 3 is the Baal Red wash I bought for my Space Marine eyes. Pic 4 is my new Small Drybrush. Pic 5 is my pride and joy, my Golden Demon finalist badge!! That is right, I am through to the next round. They chose the top three from each category to go through, and I was in the top three of my category (it probably helped that there were only two entries in the category :P). I will have some of the terrible pictures I took on my phone of other entries up tommorrow (I can't spell that word. It is the worst word in the English language, I swear.)

Got my ten minutes in today, and managed to highlight all the cables on Numitor's armour (not the green on on the thunder hammer though). I also finished all the basecoats on my Ultramarines test model.

I have finished the next highlight on Cpt Numitor's armour. I don't have any pictures as I will hold off taking some until the first round of highlighting on the whole model is complete. I am trying to get some painting done every day, but working around schoolwork and other commitments can be difficult at times. As such, updates for the next 8 weeks will be few and far between. But I have 8 weeks of holidays afterwards in which to get plenty done!

Very very excited about Golden Demon. I can't wait till Saturday! I have already got the whole day planned out!
